Cast Iron Ball Caps Styles Our decorative cast iron ball post caps are available in the following styles: Ball Cap (square base plate with a ball mounted on top) Acorn Cap (has a plug, and an acorn top) All caps can be placed on metal and wooden railings and exterior fences Sizes Cast iron ball post caps are available in the following sizes: Acorn style post cap (1” squarebase, 7/8” plug, 3 ¾”) Ball style post cap (1” Base sizes up to 6”) Note: When choosing the right ball post cap size for your building needs, the hole size refers to the outside size of your material.  For example, if you are using 2” square material for your project, you would choose the 2” hole size, so it will slip over top. Material Ball post caps are available in cast iron. Cast Iron Railing Panel Powder Coating Colours All baluster baskets are available in the following powder coat finishes: Flat Black (a matt black) Wrinkle Black (a textured black , with a slight sheen) Oil Rub Bronze (gritty finish feel, dark colour) Pewter Vein (light dull grey that is pitted like the planet mars) Gold Vein (gold colour with black speckles in it, looks and feels shinier) Gunmetal (dark grey, smooth) Clear Coat (just a clear coat, makes spindles look rustic underneath. Shows flaws of metal) Semi Gloss Black (a shiny smooth black) Silver Vein (silver colour, smooth shiny with black specks in it Stat Bronze (dark brown colour, smooth, shiny feel) Additional cost of powder coat varies depending on thickness of bar and colour choice.
